Ship Graveyard…
In North-Western Africa. Mauritania to be exact.
I love how organic these huge man made clumps of old disused metal look when collected and left to (presumably) decay. Reminds me of a leaf, fern or palm tree. A time lapse of these things moving with the tides would be great. (Anyone?)
“The port of Nouadhibou is the final resting place of over 300 ships and hencce the world’s largest ship graveyard…the number of craft has built up over time, as corrupt officials accepted bribes from boat owners to allow them to dump their vessels in the area”
